9-Year Double Oak Bourbon Private Batch: WS-12

This 9-year small batch Bourbon is composed of 18 hand-selected low rye (75/21/4) Bourbon barrels that were distilled at MGP Indiana, and primarily matured in Indiana and Kentucky. The barrels were brought up to Copper & Cask in Rhode Island where they were transferred into new Char 1 oak barrels for Double Oaking. The secondary aging was approximately 9 months - 1 year, prior to being bended and bottled at cask strength.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

60.4% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is rich with aromas of maple candy and creme brulee. Once sipped, flavors of burnt sugar and salted caramel appear giving way to notes of baked apple and rock candy.  The finish is long with hints of cola, flamed orange peel and toasted almonds.
