WS-06 - Double Oak Bourbon

Batch WS-06 is a marriage of select casks of low-rye and high-rye bourbon, distilled in Indiana and aged in both Indiana and Kentucky.  After aging 8 years in their original charred oak casks, the barrels were handpicked by our Barrel Master, blended in micro-batches and then re-casked in a second round of new charred barrels to finish for 5-9 months.

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of fudge brownies and chocolate dipped orange peel.  Once sipped, fruity flavors of cherry compote and blackberry jam present themselves before giving way to spicy notes of coffee cake and cherry cola.  The finish is long and layered with hints of vanilla pudding, espresso and fruitcake.
