The inaugural batch of “X”, our first nationally-available release, is crafted from hand-selected barrels of 10 to 12-year Bourbon, distilled at MGP Indiana and aged in multiple locations, including: Kentucky, Indiana and Copper & Cask’s HQ in Rhode Island. The blend is composed of 45 barrels of low-rye (21%) and high-rye (36%) Bourbon, skewing toward high-rye. We’ll be releasing “X” in small batch drops on an ongoing basis, but there will only be one batch one!

Tasting Notes

On the nose, this Bourbon has aromas of milk chocolate and salted caramel. Once sipped, sweeter flavors of butterscotch and chocolate-covered almonds appear, along with notes of chocolate cake and cherry cola. The finish is long and layered with hints of toffee, mocha and candied orange peel.
