1-Year High-Rye Bourbon Whiskey Private Batch: SP-09

This Private Batch is a blend of 10 high-rye Bourbon barrels, all distilled and primarily matured at MGP in Indiana. The barrels are hand-selected from a September 2014 distill date lot. The whiskey was bottled in August 2026, just shy of 12 years.

Mash Bill: 60% CORN, 36% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

59% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is decadent with aromas of dark maple syrup and chocolate truffles. Once sipped, rich flavors of burnt sugar and chocolate mousse come to the fore, revealing notes of vanilla cola and molasses. The finish is long and layered with hints of cocoa powder, candied orange and chai.
