6-Year Double Oak Texas-Aged Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: DC-1338

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in August 2019, but was primarily aged in Texas. The barrel was brought to Copper & Cask where it was transferred into a new Char 1 oak barrel for a year of double oak finishing. The whiskey was bottled in May 2026 at 6 years, 9 months.

Mash Bill:75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

60.4% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of vanilla syrup and flamed orange peel.  Once sipped, sweeter flavors of caramel and praline emerge before giving way to richer notes of maple syrup and burnt sugar. The finish is long and decandent with hints of creme brulee, mocha and chocolate cake.
