Straight Bourbon Double Oak (Wave Stave) Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: DC-1115

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in October 2017, and then spent the majority of its life maturing in Kentucky. The whiskey was then brought up to Copper & Cask HQ where it was rebarelled into a new oak (Wave Stave) cask for approximately 6 months before being bottled at 7.5 years.

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with notes of vanilla syrup and toasted marshmallow.  Once sipped, robust flavors of toasted almonds and burnt sugar appear before giving way to notes of cherry cola and molasses.  The finish is long and highlights hints of vanilla pipe tobacco, dark roast coffee and raisins.
