Straight Rye Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MI-409

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December 2016, where it matured for most of its life. The whiskey was bottled at just shy of 8 years. Like all Copper & Cask whiskeys, this bottling is barrel proof, non-chill filtered.

Mash Bill: 95% RYE, 5% MALTED BARLEY
61% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is decadent with raw honey and creme brulee. Once sipped, sweeter flavors of candied orange and honeycomb come to the fore, receding to reveal spicier notes of gingerbread and clove. The finish is long and layered with hints of fruitcake, raisins and rock candy.
