Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MF-768

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2015, and then spent the majority of its life maturing in Florida. This half of the barrel was bottled as is in August 2024 at just over 9 years. The other half of the barrel was rebarreled into a second oak cask to create DC-768 Double Oak.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
63.7% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is decadent with aromas of cocoa powder and creme brulee. Once sipped, the palate is lively with flavors of orange zest and cinnamon candies before dark fruit notes of plum and fig come to the fore. The finish is long and turns sweeter with hints of burnt sugar, vanilla and black licorice.
