Straight Bourbon Whiskey DOUBLE OAK Single Barrel Selection: DC-768

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2015, and then spent the majority of its life maturing in Florida. Half of the barrel was bottled as is (MF-768), and the other half was rebarreled into a second oak barrel to make this Double Oak finish. It was bottled in August 2024 at just over 9 years.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
63.7% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is rich with notes of orange creamsicle and butterscotch. Once sipped, creamy notes of creme caramel and honeycomb ice cream emerge before a pop of lemon peel and rock candy. The finish is long with notes of maple syrup and leather.
