7-Year Chartreuse Finished Rye Single Barrel Selection: DC-824

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in February 2018 and was primarily matured in Kentucky. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ where it was transferred into a Chartreuse barrel for finishing. After spending approximately 1 year in the finishing barrel, the whiskey was bottled in August 2025 at approximately 7.5 years.

Mash Bill: 95% RYE, 5% MALTED BARLEY 60.4% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of anise and clove-studded orange.  Once sipped, flavors of coffee cake and freshly grated nutmeg come to the fore, then revealing notes of clover honey and citrus herbal tea. The finish is long and layered with hints of cinnamon candies, chai and licorice.
