8-Year Straight Bourbon Finished in Tawny Port and Toasted Oak Single Barrel Selection: DC-1403

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2017, and was primarily aged in Kentucky. The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask where it was was first transferred into a toasted oak barrel for a short period of time, and then was primarily finished in a Tawny Port barrel for another six months. The whiskey was bottled in February 2026 at cask strength.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

55.4% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is lively with aromas of toasted marshmallow and currants.  Once sipped, the flavors of clover honey and vanilla syrup appear before giving way to dark fruit notes of roasted plums and blackberry jam. The finish is long with hints of mixed berry tea, brown sugar and toasted almonds.
