20-Year Hazmat Canadian Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: CA-42

This Single Barrel Selection comes from a small lot of Canadian whiskey barrels, all distilled in Alberta, Canada in 2005. The mash bill is predominantly corn and the proof is well into hazmat level. 

Mash Bill: 97% corn, 2.5% rye and 0.5% barley

81.3% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey displays sweeter aromas of honeycomb and lemon buttercream. Once sipped, rich flavors of butterscotch and caramel popcorn appear before revealing lively notes of orange zest and cherry candy. The finish is long with hints of maraschino cherry, figs and ginger tea.
