Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished In Toasted Oak: Limited Small Batch WS-2

This Limited Small Batch WS-2 is a custom batch. The whiskey is a 7-year Bourbon that was distilled at MGP Indiana in 2016 and aged in Kentucky. The batch is a marriage of 18 barrels, mostly low-rye mash bill (75c, 21r, 4b) with a small amount of high-rye mash bill (60c, 36r, 4b). The Bourbon was re-barreled into new toasted oak barrels for finishing.

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is packed with fruity aromas of cherry and fig. Once sipped, vibrant flavors of orange zest and rock candy appear before giving way to notes of toasted marshmallow and demerara sugar. The finish is long and complex with hints of espresso, toasted almonds and leather.
