8-Year Cigar Blend Bourbon Private Batch: SP-05

This Private Batch bottling is a 6-barrel blend of 8-year low-rye (21%) and high-rye (36%) Bourbon barrels, all distilled in Indiana and primarily aged in Kentucky. The barrels were brought up to Copper & Cask in Rhode Island where they were blended and then re-casked into a combination of Oloroso Sherry and Armagnac casks for a minimum of 9 months.

On the nose, this whiskey displays fruity aromas of cherry pie filling and plum preserves.  Once sipped, fruit flavors of orange slices and cherry cordial emerge before revealing richer notes of butterscotch and honey syrup. The finish is long with hints cocoa powder, toasted almonds.
