8-Year CIGAR BLEND Bourbon Private Batch: OL-01

This Private Batch was made from a blend of four Bourbon barrels originally distilled at MGP Indiana. Three of the barrels were 9-year high-rye (36%) barrels that were aged in Kentucky and Rhode Island. Those barrels were blended and re-casked into an Armagnac cask for 9 months of finishing. The final barrel was a 8-year low-rye (21%) barrel that was aged in Indiana and Rhode Island and finished in an Oloroso Sherry cask for a year. The final batch was blended and bottled in September 2025.

61.6% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey displays confectionary aromas of powdered sugar and clover honey.  Once sipped, sweeter flavors of rock candy and vanilla syrup emerge before giving way to fruity notes of grapefruit zest and plums. The finish is long with hints of maraschino cherry, maple syrup and chai tea.
