10-Year High-Rye Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MW-1899

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in November 2015, but was primarily aged in West Virginia. The barrel was brought to Copper & Cask to complete maturation before being bottled in May 2026 at 10 years. This was a low fill barrel that had extreme evaporation that led to the high proof (which was unique within this specific lot of barrels).

Mash Bill: 60% Corn, 36% Rye, 4% Malted Barley

73.6% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of toasted walnuts and dark maple syrup. Once sipped, rich flavors of cherry syrup and molasses appear before giving way to lively notes of candied orange peel and cinnamon syrup. The finish is long and dense with notes of cocoa powder, espresso and leather.
