8-Year High-Rye Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel: MW-1857

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December 2017, but was primarily aged in West Virginia.The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask Rhode Island, where it finished aging and was bottled in June, 2026 at around 8.5 years. 

Mash Bill: 60% Corn, 36% Rye, 4% Malted Barley

59.7% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is fresh with aromas of cherries and grapefruit zest. Once sipped, sweeter flavors of brown sugar and maple syrup appear before giving way to fruitier notes of raisins and plums. The finish is rich with hints of mocha, flambeed cherries and Black Forest cake.
