Straight Bourbon Whiskey High-Rye Single Barrel Selection: MK-532

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in October 2016, and then was matured in Kentucky for over 7 years. The High Rye Bourbon was bottled at 8 years. Like all Copper & Cask whiskeys, this is barrel proof, non-chill filtered.

Mash Bill: 60% CORN, 36% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
60.8% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is rich with aromas of chocolate cake and raw honey. Once sipped, spiced flavors of fruitcake and chai tea are present before revealing fruitier notes of cooked plums and blackberry jam. This finish is long and complex with hints demerara sugar, espresso and anise.
