Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MK-171

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in November 2016, and then matured in its original charred oak cask for over 7 years in Kentucky. The whiskey was then brought to Copper & Cask HQ where it finished its maturation and was bottled at 8 years. Like all Copper & Cask whiskeys, this bottling is barrel proof, non-chill filtered.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
62.1% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey displays aromas of brown sugar and cherry. Once sipped, sweeter flavors of butterscotch and vanilla cream are present before notes of Mexican chocolate and espresso shine through. The finish is medium featuring hints of maple syrup, birch beer and cocoa powder.
