8-Year Straight Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: MK-1287

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December, 2016 and was primarily matured in Kentucky. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ after approximately 7 years for additional aging. The whiskey was bottled at in August 2025 at approximately 8 years, 8 months.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY 59.7% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is bright with aromas of fresh orange zest and honey. Once sipped, the velvety texture displays flavors of rock candy and candied orange peel before revealing red fruit notes of strawberry and currant. The finish is long with hints of dark roast coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla bean.
