8-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MK-1275

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December 2016, and then matured for over 7 years in Kentucky. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ to finish aging, before being bottled at just around 8.5 years.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY 60% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of dark roast coffee and orange peel. Once sipped, richer notes of cocoa powder and cola are present before giving way to dark fruit notes of cherry compote and dried figs. The finish is long and layered with hints of espresso, dark chocolate and toasted almonds.
