Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MK-1143

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in November 2017 and matured for over 6 years in Kentucky. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ where it matured for another year plus, and then was bottled at over 7 years. 

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
63.3% ABV 126.6 proof

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, sweeter aromas of maple syrup and fruit punch prevail. Once sipped, rich caramel comes to the fore and then reveal notes of cola and chai tea in the mid-palate. The finish is long and layered with hints of baked apple, raw honey and absinthe.
