8-Year Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel: MK-1139

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December 2017, and was primarily aged in Kentucky.The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask Rhode Island, where it finished aging and was bottled in August, 2026 at approximately 8 years, 8 months. This was a low-fill barrel that reached HAZMAT level, making it a rarity amongst these 2017 Kentucky-aged barrels.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

70.5% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is bold with aromas of flamed orange peel and crystallized honey. Once sipped, sweeter flavors of brown sugar and maple candies emerge before revealing fruitier notes of maraschino cherry and roasted plums. The finish is long and lively with hints of fresh orange zest, clover honey and pipe tobacco.
