7-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MK-1069

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in November 2017, and then matured for over 6 years in Kentucky. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ to finish aging, before being bottled at around 7.5 years.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

59.8% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is rich with aromas of peanut brittle and milk chocolate.  Once sipped, sweeter flavors of butterscotch and creme brulee come to the fore, then revealing fruitier notes of candied orange peel and blackberry jam.  The finish is long with hints of toasted marshmallow, mocha and pipe tobacco.
