8-Year Straight Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: MI-227

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in January 2017. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ after approximately 6-7 years for additional aging. The whiskey was bottled at in August 2025 at approximately 8.5 years.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY 63.7% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is rich with aromas of cocoa powder and maraschino cherry. Once sipped, sweeter notes of rock candy and maple sugar come to the fore, giving way to fruitier notes of roasted plums and blueberry jam. The finish is long and robust with hints of mocha, raw honey and leather.
