8-Year Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: MI-217

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in January 2017, where it aged for the majority of its maturation. The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ to continue aging before being bottled at about 8 years and 8 months.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

63.7% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of fresh roasted coffee and toasted almonds. Once sipped, richer flavors of maple syrup and butterscotch are present before giving way to confectionary noted of rock candy and cinnamon candies. The finish is long with hints of maraschino cherries, molasses cookies and leather.
