Straight Bourbon High-Rye Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MI-206

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in August 2016, where it matured in its original charred oak barrel for over 7 years. The whiskey was then brought to Copper & Cask HQ where it finished maturation and was bottled at a little over 8 years. Like all Copper & Cask whiskeys, this bottling is barrel proof, non-chill filtered.

Mash Bill: 60% CORN, 36% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
63.6% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of molasses and figs. Once sipped, spicier flavors emerge, including anise and clove, before revealing notes of cherry cola and oak. The finish is long and comes in waves with hints of crystallized ginger, espresso and leather.
