Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MF-718

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2017, and then matured for over 6 years in the topical climate of Florida. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ where it matured for another year plus, and then was bottled at just shy of 8 years. These 2017 Florida barrels have been some of our most requested barrels, and MF-718 is one of the oldest ones to be bottled. 

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
63.8% ABV 127.6 proof

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is rich with aromas of brown sugar and leather.  Once sipped, sweeter flavors of cherry pie filling and chocolate sauce dominate before revealing notes of maple syrup and creme brulee.  The finish is long and complex with hints of Black Forest cake, candied orange peel and vanilla buttercream.
