Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MF-715

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2017 and matured for over 6 years in Florida. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ where it matured for another year plus, and then was bottled at just shy of 8 years.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
63% ABV 126 proof

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey is lively with aromas of orange zest and spun sugar.  Once sipped, sweeter flavors of brown sugar and almond extract first appear before giving way to fruitier notes of cherry compote and plums.  The finish is long with hints of mocha, gingerbread and licorice.
