8-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MF-603

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2017, and then spent the majority of its life maturing in Florida. It was one of the last of our May 2017 batch of Florida barrels to be bottled. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ to finish aging before being bottled at just over 8 years.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
64.2% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is rich with aromas of butterscotch and honeycomb. Once sipped, lively flavors of orange zest and cinnamon come to the fore, giving way to darker notes of cocoa powder and mocha. The finish is long and layered with hints of praline, brandied cherries and pipe tobacco.
