8-Year Straight Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: MF-579

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2017 and was primarily aged in Florida. The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask to finish maturation in Rhode Island, and was then bottled in February 2026 at 8 years, 9 months. This is the only barrel from our May 2017 Florida lot that reached a HAZMAT proof!

Mash Bill:75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

70.3% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is robust with aromas of cocoa powder and cherry cola. Once sipped, rich flavors of German chocolate cake and mocha come to the fore, giving way to notes of caramel sauce and demerara sugar. The finish is long with hint of espresso, chocolate truffles and pipe tobacco.
