8-Year Honey Finished Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: DC-856

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled and primarily matured at MGP Indiana. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ for additional aging and was finally finished for approximately 3 months in a barrel seasoned with local Rhode Island honey.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY 58% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey displays floral aromas of honeysuckle and melon.  Once sipped, a velvety texture shows flavors of orange peel and pineapple candy giving way to richer notes of butterscotch and crystallized honey. The finish is long and layered with hints of graham cracker, leather and a touch of rosemary.
