Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Armagnac Cask Single Barrel Selection: DC-737

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2017, and then matured in Florida for about 7 years. The whiskey was then brought up to Copper & Cask HQ where it was moved into an ex-Armagnac barrel for finishing. The whiskey aged in that finishing barrel for over 6 months prior to being bottled at barrel proof.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
62.1% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey showcases aromas of toasted almond, raisin and dry currant. On the palate, sweet notes of burnt sugar and maple syrup come through, with a long, rich finish.
