8-Year Double Oak High-Rye Bourbon Single Barrel: DC-1847

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December 2017, but was primarily aged in West Virginia. The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask Rhode Island where it was finished for 6 months in a new American oak Wave Stave barrel. The whiskey was bottled in August 2026 at over 8.5yrs. 

Mash Bill: 60% CORN, 36% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

57% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is rich with aromas of toasted marshmallows and orange zest. Once sipped, sweeter notes of burnt sugar and raw honey emerge before revealing falvors of cocoa powder and coffee cake. The finish is long with hints of mocha, maple syrup and espresso.
