9-Year Japanese Plum Wine-Finished High-Rye Bourbon Single Barrel: DC-1574

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in October 2016 and was primarily aged in Kentucky.The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask Rhode Island, where it was transferred into an ex-Japanese Plum Wine barrel for approximately 10 months. The whiskey was bottled in June 2026 at around 9 years, 8 months.

On the nose, this whiskey is delicate with aromas of roasted plums and honeysuckle. Once sipped, sweeter flavors of brown sugar and light maple syrup appear before revealing stone fruit notes of peach jam and nectarines. The finish is long with hints of pipe smoke, butterscotch and raw honey.
