8-Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Amarone Cask Single Barrel Selection: DC-1383

This single barrel selection was distilled at MGP in July 2017, and was primarily aged in Indiana. The barrel was brought to Copper & Cask to finish maturation, and was eventually transferred into an Amarone wine cask for approximately 7 months for finishing. The whiskey was bottled in May 2026 at 8 years, 10 months.

Mash Bill:75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

56.3% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is full of fruit aromas of fresh cherries and raspberry jam. Once sipped, red fruit flavors of strawberry and currants emerge before giving way to darker fruit notes of figs and blackberries. The finish is long with hints of orange peel, roasted cherry and cinnamon candies.
