7-Year Armagnac and Toasted Oak Finished Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: DC-1163

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December 2017 and was primarily matured in Kentucky. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ for additional aging and finishing. The whiskey was transferred to an Armangac barrel for approximately 6 months, followed by 3 months in a Toasted Oak barrel. 

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY 62.7% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey displays aromas of toasted almond and vanilla bean. Once sipped, rich flavors of burnt sugar and vanilla pudding explode on the palate before revealing notes of dates and orange candies. The finish is long and complex with hints of cinnamon candies, toasted pecans and tobacco.
