8-Year Bourbon Finished in Cognac and Sherry Casks Single Barrel Selection: DC-1108

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in October 2017 and was primarily aged in Kentucky. The barrel was brought up to Copper & Cask where it was first transferred into a Cognac cask for 5 months and then into an Oloroso Sherry cask for another 5 months. Total cask finishing time was approximately 10 months. The whiskey was bottled in December 2025.

Mash Bill:75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

59.6% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey is fruity with aromas of cranberry and dried cherries. Once sipped, fruit flavors continue with figs and fresh orange zest before turning richer with notes of vanilla cream and raw honey.  The finish is long and lively with hints of candied grapefruit peel, maraschino cherries and vanilla pipe tobacco.
