8-Year Double Oak (Wave Stave) Bourbon Single Barrel Selection: DC-1005

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in December 2016 and was primarily matured in Kentucky. The whiskey was brought up to Copper & Cask HQ for additional aging in a new wave stave barrel, where it was finished for just shy of a year.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

59.5% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey displays intense aromas of cola and orange peel. Once sipped, this whiskey explodes with flavors of fresh orange slices and maraschino cherries before revealing decadent notes of salted caramel and creme brûlée. The finish is long and structured with notes of cherry, chai spice and pipe tobacco.
