20-Year Hazmat Canadian Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: CA-35

This Single Barrel Selection comes from a small lot of Canadian whiskey barrels, all distilled in Alberta, Canada in 2005. The mash bill is predominantly corn and the proof is well into hazmat level. 

Mash Bill: 97% Corn, 2.5% Rye and 0.5% Barley

81.4% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey displays confectionary aromas of cake frosting and vanilla bean paste. Once sipped, richer flavors of butterscotch and creme brûlée come to the fore, then revealing fruitier notes of candied orange peel and maraschino cherry. The finish is long with hints of rock candy, maple syrup and peanut brittle.
