Canadian Hazmat Blended Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: CA-07

This single barrel is truly one-of-a-kind! This was a standout barrel from a lot of barrels we sourced from Alberta, Canada after 20 years of maturation. It was the only one in the lot that was bottled as a single barrel. The rest were used for Small Batch Series 10. This whiskey comes in at a whopping 165.6 proof, making it a true Hazmat barrel. Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey displays sweeter aromas of honey and fresh pineapple. Once sipped, fruity flavors of passionfruit and grapefruit peel jump to the fore, revealing spicier notes of baked apple and nutmeg on the mid-palate. The finish is long and comes in waves with hints of raw honey, poached pear and sorghum syrup.
