8-Year High-Rye Bourbon Private Batch: BD-02

This Private Batch was made from a blend of 4 high-rye (36%) Bourbon barrels, all distilled in October and November 2016 at MGP Indiana and aged predominantly in Kentucky. The final batch was blended and bottled in October 2025 at just shy of 9 years.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY

56.9% ABV

On the nose, this whiskey displays aromas of maraschino cherries and star anise. Once sipped, flavors of cherry pie filling and orange zest emerge before giving way to notes of baked apple and cinnamon candies. The finish is long with hints of espresso, dark chocolate and pipe tobacco.
