Our fourth release in the Small Batch Series is a Kentucky whiskey that was batched at 12 years, then finished for over a year in Armagnac casks. Like a Bourbon, the whiskey does have over 51% corn in the mash bill, but it was not aged entirely in new charred oak barrels. The presence of less new oak allowed the whiskey to mature gracefully without a heavy charred oak presence.

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey shows notes of caramel popcorn and raw honeycomb. Once sipped, flavors of orange zest and dried figs are present before opening into vanilla and pipe tobacco. The finish is long and spicy, displaying hints of chai spice and raisins.
