Straight Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Selection: MI-403

This Single Barrel Selection is a 7 year, 8 month High-Rye Bourbon that was distilled and barreled in Indiana in August 2016. The whiskey was bottled at cask strength in April 2024.

Mash Bill: 60% CORN, 36% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
61% ABV

Tasting Notes:
The nose of this whiskey features a lively aroma with the scent of freshly expressed orange peel and a hint of jasmine. Upon sipping, flavors of spicy cinnamon candies and tart candied grapefruit are present before giving way to softer notes of maple syrup and blueberry jam. The finish is long and returns to spicier flavors of cinnamon roasted almonds and molasses.
