Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Calvados Cask Single Barrel Selection: DC-589

This Single Barrel Selection was distilled at MGP Indiana in May 2017, and then matured in Florida for nearly 7 years. The whiskey was then brought up to Copper & Cask HQ to finish in a Calvados barrel.

Mash Bill: 75% CORN, 21% RYE, 4% MALTED BARLEY
61.7% ABV

Tasting Notes:
On the nose, this whiskey displays aromas of wildflower honey and honeysuckle. Once sipped, the flavors of Asian pear and candied grapefruit jump to the fore before sweeter notes of honeycomb ice cream and green apple candies are revealed. The finish is long and fruity with hints of apple tart and maple frosting.
